Food Experiences in Malmö

My name is Sanna Ohlander, and I run a food studio in Malmö where I create curated food and drink experiences rooted in Swedish flavour, seasonality, and storytelling.
In the studio – and occasionally at other locations – I welcome small groups for experiences that combine food, culture, and knowledge in a personal and genuine way.

My offer is designed for tour operators seeking local, authentic, and high-quality experiences for international guests. All experiences are created for small groups and can be adapted to the season, audience, and context.

Examples of experiences include:
– Swedish Fika Experience – an introduction to Swedish fika culture with pastries, open sandwiches, local drinks, and storytelling
– Harvest Table – a seasonal dining experience inspired by Skåne’s ingredients, from spring produce to autumn harvest
– Honey Tasting – A Taste of Swedish Honey – a guided tasting focusing on flavour, origin, sustainability, and the role of bees

All experiences share a common foundation:
– Strong connection to Swedish and Skåne ingredients
– Clear hosting and storytelling
– Small groups and a personal atmosphere
– High quality in both content and execution

I work as a chef, food stylist, and sommelier, often together with my husband, photographer Torbjörn Lagerwall. Together, we create experiences that engage all the senses – and stay with guests long after the visit.

Honey Tasting – A Taste of Swedish Honey

Five honeys, five stories – from flower to jar. In this tasting, participants discover how flavour, colour, and aroma vary between different Swedish honeys. We explore the role of bees in the ecosystem, the difference between single-origin (monofloral) and blended honeys, and how honey can be used in food and drinks.
